ROUNDABOUTS OF VIVERONE
The lake is 12 km long and lies at 0,8 km from the centre of Viverone.
Viverone lies between Turin an Milan, at 1200 km from London. The village
counts 1.400 inhabitants and lies in the wonderful region Piemonte, in the
Biella province .
Viverone is wonderfully situated with the Aosta-valley at 1 hour driving, interesting cities nearby (Turin, Biella, Milan, Ivrea,...) and many sport facilities (water sports, golf, tennis, horse-riding,...) around.
During the summer you can enjoy dance-evenings in open air along the lake. Besides many villages organise traditional festivities with succulent italian food, local wine and open-air dancing.
In Viverone and surroundings good wine is being produced. Our most famous wine is the "Erbaluce". Next to the castel of Roppolo (village at 1 km from Viverone) you can visit our old oenoteque, "Enoteca regionale de la Serra", and buy our local wine.
For the history lovers there are many places to visit, like the castel of Masino, the medieval village of Candelo and many more.
